What is Non-Destructive Testing?

Non-destructive testing (NDT) is a wide group of techniques, that are used to evaluate structural properties, without damaging an item under inspection. NDT is used in a wide variety of sectors including aviation, rail, motorsport, renewable energy and oil and gas. NDT Technicians and the equipment they use must be certified to strict regulations, this is of critical importance to ensure that inspections are carried out correctly and safely.
