Prakash Gokulanandam is an experienced professional in nondestructive testing (NDT), operations management, and business strategy. He has a strong background in managing technical, financial, and administrative functions and has successfully led organizations in NDT services, certification, training, and compliance programs. 

His expertise encompasses budget management, process automation, and global partnerships, all of which contribute to business growth and operational excellence. Prakash also has hands-on experience in various inspection techniques including liquid penetrant testing (PT), magnetic particle testing (MT), and X-ray and gamma-ray radiographic inspection for industries such as oil and gas, automotive, aerospace, and manufacturing. 

He possesses in-depth knowledge of industry standards, including ASNT, ASTM, ASME, AMS, and ISO. Additionally, Prakash is certified as an ASNT NDT Level III professional in PT and MT.

Prakash has been instrumental in establishing and managing ASNT India. He led the organization from its inception and has driven its growth through initiatives such as training, certification, membership engagement, technical programs, and conferences. He successfully built a state-of-the-art training and certification facility, secured vital partnerships, and significantly contributed to the organization’s overall development.

Prakash holds an MBA from Birmingham City University, UK, and a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Anna University, India. His qualifications include multiple NDT Level III certifications and regulatory approvals from AERB and BARC. His expertise in quality assurance, compliance, and technical leadership continues to drive industry standards and innovation.
